After graduating from Exeter University with a degree in English, Lara became hugely interested in the power that wholefoods have on both our physical and mental wellbeing. She began working for a number of health and wellness focused companies, before enrolling at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) where she spent three years studying biomedicine and the principles and clinical practice of nutritional therapy.

Lara Isaac is a fully qualified Nutritional Therapist (dipCNM distinction, mBANT, rCNHC) based in London.

For the past six years, Lara has also worked as a professional tutor for Keystone Tutors. She has found the one-to-one teaching extremely rewarding and this mentoring has developed the compassionate and attentive approach that she applies in her nutritional therapy appointments.

One-to-one Support

Health has become a bewildering concept in recent years and Lara offers her clients clarity amidst the confusion. She maintains that taking a holistic approach, where people are encouraged to embrace cooking and eating real foods, is superior to demonising individual food groups or pursuing regimented diets. Lara believes that food should be celebratory, and that optimal health is dependent on an appreciation of food’s ability to provide joy - as well as nourishment.

The Swedish philosophy for living a happy and balanced life with ‘just the right amount’ underlies Lara’s nutritional approach. Quietening the idea that we need to endlessly chase the perfect diet (which, truly, doesn’t exist as we are all unique), ‘lagom’ conjures up ideas of balance with regards to the way we eat, sleep, work and breathe within such a fast paced world.

Why Lagom?

Not too much and not too little
